Bachelor/Associate Student Pathway:

Many Bachelor and Associate degree programs in social services. psychology, criminal justice require a 100-200 hour intern experience. 4C Health supports an experience that prepares you for your first position after degree completion. Bachelor and Associate level students are engaged in a semester long shadowing experience. You will be paired with existing 4C Health staff who you will shadow throughout your experience. Learn what a school-based. community-based. and DCS specialty skills trainer does! Exposure to evidence -based curriculum use. individual and group skills training. care coordination. team meetings. and field learning! When a Bachelor or Associate level student completes a semester long experience with 4C Health, student is GUARANTEED a job interview upon degree completion.

Master’s Student Pathway:

Masters· practicum and internship incorporates a core rotation in outpatient therapy and a concurrent rotation of student choice from the below. Masters students are expected to commit to at minimum of 600 hours of student training with 4C Health. This expectation ensures quality of training and continuity of patient care. When a student completes 600-900 hours of Master's practicum/internship with 4C Health, student is GUARANTEED a job interview upon degree completion! Students who successfully complete their advanced practicum or internship requirements with 4C Health are eligible to receive a stipend, disbursed at the midpoint and conclusion of the program.

Nurse Student Pathway:

4C Health offers an opportunity for nursing students interested in psychiatric nursing to augment their educational and clinical experiences.  Applying for a nursing internship provides a direct patient care experience under the supervision of a registered nurse.  Interns will assist in providing selected aspects of nursing care to patients in a psychiatric urgent care/crisis stabilization unit.  While advancing basic nursing skills, interns will develop and expand clinical knowledge of psychiatric nursing, including advancement of communication and de-escalation skills. Completion of internship guarantees a job interview after graduation.

Requirements:

  • Completion of 2 semesters of ASN or BSN accredited program

  • BLS and CPI certification completed within 1 month of hire

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain vital signs

  • Complete assigned RN orders

  • Document client observations

    • Participate in patient education groups

4C Health offers opportunity for CMA/RMA students interested in working with Behavioral and Primary care professionals to augment the education and clinical experiences. Applying for a CMA/RMA internship provides a direct patient care experience under the supervision of a CMA/RMA. Interns will assist in providing selected aspects of running a Primary Care clinic and Psychiatric Medication Clinic. While enhancing your basic MA skills, interns will develop and expand clinical knowledge, advancement of communications and de-escalation skills. Completion of internship guarantees a job interview after passing the MA examination test.
