4C Health Expands First Responder Employee Assistance Program Countywide in Tipton County
Tipton, IN – What began as a pilot program with the Tipton County Sheriff's Department has now expanded into a countywide partnership, bringing confidential behavioral health and wellness support to first responders throughout Tipton County.
4C Health and Tipton County First Responders have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to Tipton County first responder employees. The partnership expands access to confidential behavioral health support for the individuals who serve and protect the community.
The initiative began in 2025 as a pilot project with the Tipton County Sheriff's Department, providing Sheriff's Department employees with an opportunity to access behavioral health and wellness resources through 4C Health. Following the pilot, the program has now expanded to include first responders across Tipton County, creating broader access to services for those serving the community.
“First responders routinely experience situations that can take an emotional and mental toll, and having access to confidential support is an important part of maintaining overall wellness,” said Lisa Willis-Gidley, Chief Revenue Officer of 4C Health. “We are proud that what began as a pilot with the Tipton County Sheriff's Department has grown into a countywide partnership. Expanding this program means more of Tipton County's first responders can access support when they need it.”
The EAP is designed to provide professional support for personal or work-related challenges that may affect an employee's well-being or job performance. Support may address concerns such as stress, family concerns, mental health, substance use, and other life challenges.
The expansion reflects a shared commitment to recognizing that first responders' wellness is an important part of community safety. By providing confidential access to behavioral health professionals and resources, the partnership seeks to reduce barriers to care and ensure first responders have support both before and after challenging experiences.
